The consistency problem

A winner this month may not be a signal next month.

Leaderboards make performance visible. They do not make it persistent, executable or safe to follow.

External research · Chase (@chase_mew_) · 20 Jul 2026View original analysis ↗

935,000 Hyperliquid wallets analysed over one year

19%of one month's top 10% remained in the top 10% the next month
45.5%of those top-decile traders were profitable the next month

Trader behaviour can contain value. Recent rank alone is still a weak selection rule.

01Discovery

Leaderboards, social feeds and alpha groups show PnL without persistence.

02Evaluation

Wallet explorers still require manual interpretation of risk and repeatability.

03Execution

Sizing, funding, liquidity and liquidation checks happen separately.

04Monitoring

Positions and signal changes are tracked manually across tools.

05Risk

No shared system connects drawdown, costs, correlation and signal decay.

Illustrative trader profile

One headline. Four very different readings.

The same account looks different when leverage, concentration and execution context become visible.

How Mosaic works

From observed behaviour to controlled exposure.

Each stage removes a different source of noise. The result is a qualified portfolio signal with controls applied before execution.

01

Observe

Read public wallet and market behaviour, including entries, exits, leverage, holding patterns, funding and drawdowns.

02

Qualify

Score repeatability, risk persistence, execution quality, liquidity usage and signal independence.

03

Aggregate

Combine qualified behaviour, reduce single-trader dependency and net conflicting exposure.

04

Control

Apply position, leverage, liquidity, drawdown and capacity rules before exposure increases.

05

Execute

Route orders through connected wallets, Mosaic Terminal or vaults on supported venues.

Risk before execution

A signal is an input. It is not an instruction.

Mosaic adapts a strategy signal to the connected account before an order is placed.

  • No withdrawal permissions
  • Liquidity-aware participation
  • Position and leverage limits
  • Clear pause, reduce and exit controls

Paper execution

Paper execution is active.

Live signals and paper execution are running under frozen research rules on Hyperliquid and Lighter. Results will be published after a sufficient observation window.

Historical research

Tested after fees and funding, not presented as a promise.

Representative research configuration using a Jun to Dec 2025 discovery window and a Jan to Jun 2026 out-of-sample validation window, compounded at 5X leverage with Hyperliquid 4.5 bps taker fees and funding accounted for.

Net return99.68%
Max drawdown8.04%
Daily Sharpe4.81
Profit factor1.30
Closed trades6,169
BTC correlation−0.145
Cumulative net returnJan to Jun 2026
3-day drawdownJan to Jun 2026
Monthly net returnJan – Jun 2026

Historical research results are not guaranteed future performance. The research accounted for stated taker fees and funding. Live results may still differ because of latency, liquidity, capacity, market conditions, trader behaviour decay and operational constraints.

Four connected products

One strategy engine. Four access paths.

Strategy produces the qualified portfolio signal. Copy subscribes a connected account to it. Terminal supports direct trading and account monitoring. Vaults provide allocation without managing execution directly.

Flagship

Mosaic Strategy

A periodically rebalanced portfolio strategy built from explainable cohort intelligence, liquidity-aware sizing and automatic de-risking.

Why Hyperliquid first

Starting where trader behaviour is observable.

Hyperliquid exposes public fills, position changes and leverage changes alongside active perpetual markets, real-time APIs and native vault infrastructure.

Controlled rollout

Build the execution layer, then expand access.

No launch countdown. Each phase advances only after its execution, reporting and risk checks are ready.

Questions

Before you get started.

Is Mosaic live?

Mosaic's data, signals and paper execution are running on Hyperliquid and Lighter today. Wallet execution is not yet open.

What is Mosaic Copy?

Mosaic Copy lets users connect a wallet to Mosaic Strategy through Hyperliquid, Lighter or other supported venues. Users set allocation, leverage, drawdown, sizing and asset limits, and can pause or disconnect at any time. It does not copy an individual trader.

How is Mosaic different from traditional copy trading?

Traditional copy trading follows traders blindly. Mosaic filters and aggregates a qualified cohort into a portfolio strategy, then applies shared risk controls before execution.

Can I trade manually through Mosaic?

Yes. Mosaic Terminal is designed as a full trading and monitoring workspace, starting with Hyperliquid and Lighter. Strategy subscription is not required to use the Terminal.

Can Mosaic withdraw funds?

No. Mosaic never has withdrawal access to user wallets.

Are the research returns guaranteed?

No. They are historical research results. Live outcomes can differ because of market conditions, liquidity, latency, capacity, trader behaviour decay and operational risk.

When will vaults open?

Only after live execution, reporting and security controls are validated. Early access will be capped.
